Workshop Description

The RoboSports Football competition trains participants in the remote operation of a mobile robot for offensive and defensive plays, as well as building teamwork to execute coordinated strategies on the field. Juniors will be trained on their fundamental control skills by manually piloting their robot to handle the ball, as well as their offensive awareness to shoot the ball into the opponent's goal. The workshop and STEM carnival will take place in the morning, followed by the competition in the afternoon, all on the same day. Each participant will receive a complementary training session (30 minutes) in the morning before the competition that will occur in the afternoon. Participants are limited to one training category to ensure more students can benefit from this STEM exposure opportunity. Slots are limited. Registration is only confirmed upon successful payment and submission of the payment receipt. For the workshop, participants may choose only one category per session. For RoboSports Football: 1. Team Formation: Each team consists of 1-2 participants. 2. Focus: Sports-oriented robotics challenges.
