Workshop Description

The Line Follower challenge is the ultimate test of precision and algorithmic efficiency. Participants will program a drone to autonomously navigate a complex course by following a designated line on the ground, all while maneuvering around obstacles and completing specific tasks at marked checkpoints. This competition tests a team's mastery of control algorithms, real-time sensor data processing, and intelligent decision-making to maintain speed and accuracy from start to finish. This is a team challenge for one to two participants. On Your Chosen Day: Attend Workshops: Workshops are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, but are available for pre-booking. If a session is full, you will be asked to queue for the next available one. Compete: After completing the workshop, you will immediately proceed to the competition area to show off your talent! Important Rules: Each participant may only attend the selected workshop once. Participants may attend other category workshops that are available. Each participant may only enter the selected competition once. Participants may attend other category competitions that are available. Both the workshop and the competition must be completed on the same day. Attending a workshop on Friday to compete on Saturday is not permitted. Event Conclusion: Day 3 (16/11/2025): This day is reserved for final tiebreakers (if necessary) and the Award Ceremony. There are no workshops or new competition entries on this day. For Line Follower: This challenge is fully autonomous; success depends entirely on the quality and logic of your code. Performance is measured by the speed of completion, the drone's accuracy in tracking the line, and its success in executing all tasks along the path. Participants will receive hands-on guidance and instruction from our experts during the workshop.
