Kindergarten (4 to 6 years old)

Goal
The goal of the Robot Football Players of a team (1-2 contestants in 1 team), which consists of 1-2 robots, is to score as many goals as possible for the opposing contestant.

While for junior and high primary football, it is not necessary to use coding, remote control is allowed.
Team
1. Only contestants participate in the Games.
2. Each team can consist of one (1) – two (2) contestants.
3. Each contestant is allowed to have only one robot (means a maximum of 2 robots for a team of 2 contestants). Changing robots during competition is strictly prohibited.
4. If a contestant has a serious problem with their robot they are only allowed to change the microprocessor or a faulty motor only after permission from the Headjudges.
5. It is forbidden during repairs of the Robot Football Players for a contestant to vary its original construction.
6. The team consists of one (1) – two (2) contestants.
7. Each contestant must have only one robot.
8. In every football match, 2 opposing teams collide.
9. If for any reason a team is disqualified from the Sport then victory will be awarded to the opposing team at any stage of the competition in which this occurs.​
ROBOT FOOTBALL PLAYER CATEGORY
The Competition is for Robot Soccer Players regardless of the robotic package or hardware used.
All Robot Soccer Players compete together in each age category.

The Robot Football Player must be remote-controlled with a program made on a Computer - Laptop except Kindergarten & Primary category to use remote control.

Using a remote is only allowed if it is programmed to connect to the Robot Soccer Player referred to Secondary and Adults category except for State Competition.

Off-the-shelf remote control apps that were not programmed by the contestant to operate the Robot Soccer Player are prohibited for Secondary & Adults category except for State Competition.

If your remote control is connected via wifi to your Robot Football Player you should consider that during the competition network is not available for the contestants and visitors, but only for the needs of the Referees and the Organization contestant.

The maximum dimensions of the Robot Football Player must be 20cm Width x 20cm Length.
-
To confirm the specifications listed above, the Robot Football Player must comfortably fit in a control box and not more than 1 kg.

The control box measures 20 x 20 cm with 1 cm tolerance.
-
The Robot Football Player should be placed in the control box without applying pressure and cannot be placed diagonally.
-
The Robot Football Player must not wear or damage the map or pose a threat to spectators in any way.

The Robot Football Player is allowed to have a shooting mechanism. CAUTION: The shooting mechanism, at its maximum extension, must remain within the overall dimensions of the robot (20x20) or to the tolerance of 1 cm* 1 cm. The mechanism is not allowed to extend the overall dimensions of the robot in any way.

Each Robot Football Player is allowed a maximum of 4 motors and 1 single microprocessor.

The Robot Football Player must have a start and stop button.
-
The robot's maximum weight must be less than 1kg.
-
Football ball to use 5 cm plastic beach ball or Zmrobo BP7090 ball.

The Robot Football Players of a team should bring in a visible place of their construction some "signature" that the team should have agreed on in advance, for example a flag, label, color combination, etc., so that one is immediately recognized by the referee in which team belongs.
Technical Control
-
The initial technical inspection will take place on the day of the Games at a place and time to be determined by the organizers.

During the initial technical check the contestant will be asked questions on the critical points of the robot and controller program. The contestant should bring their laptop with the robot program open. If the questions show that a contestant does not have knowledge of the program then that contestant is excluded from the Sport. In such a case the team will continue with only 2 contestants. If 2 contestants from the same team are eliminated from the Sport then the team only competes with one contestant.

Technical inspection includes inspection of the robot and controller according to the conditions described above. If the robot does not meet the specifications, the contestant will not be allowed to compete and will be automatically disqualified from the event.

If a contestant is not in place during the initial scrutineering, this results in the contestant being automatically disqualified from the match.

The assistant referee also conducts a secondary technical check before each game.

Competition
GENERAL INFORMATION - RULES
Goal
-
A goal is scored when the ball crosses the entire goal line.
-
Mystery challenges (unknown matches) to be revealed in the competition.
Score
-
Winners are determined based on the number of goals scored against their opposition inclusive of mystery challenges scores.
-
In the case of a tie, the team with the least goal scored by their opponent will be judged the winner.
MATCH DURATION
-
The match has a total duration of 2 minutes for each round.
-
There is no half time. The contestants keep the same number of goals in all 2 minutes of the game.
-
During the match, time runs continuously, without stopping the clock at all.
-
When contestants are not playing, they can make corrections to their Robot Football Player.
-
Before each round the Robot Football Player will go through a technical check carried out by the referee.​
MATCH PREPARATION - RESTRICTIONS
1. At the start of the match, the ball is placed on the center of the map. All Robot Football Players should have their whole robot behind the line of the defending area (refer to figure below).

2. The match starts with the referee's instruction. All Robot Soccer Players should start moving after the referee's instruction.
3. If a team scores a goal, then, without stopping time, the ball is placed in the center of the court by the referee and is free for both teams to claim again.
4. If there is a Robot Football Player on the centre at that time, then the Robot will be placed right outside the centre ring, and the ball will be placed in the centre of the map.
5. If any robots are stuck together, then the referee can separate them by moving them apart without affecting too much of the positioning of the robots.
6. The referee issues a warning if a Robot Football Player attempts to push the ball by pushing an opposing Robot Football player. The referee shall place the ball back the center of the court and the round continues without pausing the timer. If a goal is scored via this method, it is not counted.
7. Any Robot Football Player will be disqualified if found to be deliberately attempting to injure an opponent’s robot or opponent. In this case the Robot Football Player is kicked out of the match and the team continues with any remaining Robot Football Players, however if there are no remaining players, the game will still continue for the remaining team to score as many goals as possible.
8. In the case where a player is disqualified during a round, the game pauses and the referee places the ball back in the center of the field. The match continues after the signal from the referee is given.
9. The contestants are not allowed to touch their Robot Football Players throughout the match without the permission of the referee.
10. If the ball goes outside of the boundaries of the field behind the goal posts, the referee places the ball back on the center of the field.
11. It is forbidden for any Robot Football Player of the defending team to remain in the defending area for more than 3 seconds.
12. The judges’ decisions are final. Objection to these decisions can only be lodged with the Headjudges. Disputing the final decisions of the Headjudges may result in a contestant or team being disqualified.

ROBOT FOOTBALL PLAYER INJURY​
A Robot Football Player is deemed injured by the referee when:

some part of it has been disassembled,
-
remains stationary (lost connection to laptop, controller or tablet),
-
An injured Robot Football Player remains out of the field of play until repairs are completed by the contestant. After permission is given by the referee, they can return to the match. The Robot Football Player returning to the match is placed in either corner of the defense area at the players' choice. It is forbidden, however, to place the Robot Football Player in a position that gives him an advantage in possession of the ball, e.g. right in front of the ball. The referee can indicate which side the robot will return from if he judges that such an advantage is being created.

If a Robot Football Player falls over for any reason, the referee will place the robot upright and the game continues.

If all Robot Football Players in a team are injured and out of the game, the time is paused and will continue when even one Robot Soccer Player returns to the field.

If a Robot Football Player is injured during the match due to the fault of the referee, then the timer stops and the contestant is given time to repair. Time starts ticking again after the return of the Robot Soccer Player. The players and the ball are placed in the starting position of a match.
​SHOT - BALL CONTROL

A Robot Football Player should not hold the ball in any way.
-
The ball may not penetrate more than 2cm in any part of the Robot Football Player construction.

A Robot Football Player is not allowed to pick up the ball by placing it on his body in any way.
-
A Robot Football Player is not allowed to pick up the ball by placing it under his body.
-
If the referee detects that the ball is trapped in any way, he places the ball back in the center of the field and the Robot Football Player away from it. If the blocking is repeated then it is considered intentional and the Robot Football Player is disqualified from that match. The team continues with any remaining Robot Football Players, however if there are no remaining players, the game will still continue for the remaining team to score as many goals as possible.
​The Referee places the ball back in the center of the court:

When the match starts.

When a goal is scored.

When the referee gives a warning to a Robot Football Player.

When a Robot Football Player gets disqualified during a game.
-
When a Robot Football Player traps the ball as above.

When the ball crosses the entire end line parallel to the goals.​
​The Referee releases the ball:
When he unblocks 2 or more Robot Football Players who have trapped the ball.
​A Robot Soccer Player is placed in the corner:
When an injured Robot Football Player returns to the game.
BAN A contestant:
In the following cases the contestant is excluded from the Sport and will have to withdraw.
Contestant results are not taken into account and are not included in the list of competition results.
1. If the contestant's Robot Football Player does not follow the requirements specified in the rules of the Sport and the contestant refuses to accommodate him.
2. If any Robot Football Player's Technician behaves in an inappropriate or disrespectful manner, swears at or provokes or verbally or otherwise attacks other contestants or the referees.
3. If even one of the coaches of a contestant behaves in an inappropriate or indecent manner, swears or provokes or verbally or otherwise attacks other contestants or the referees.

OBJECTIONS

Referee decisions are not subject to teams' objections. In case of disagreements or opposing opinions, the referees have the final say in cooperation with the Headjudges and the Organizing Committee.

In the event that a specific competition category or round is conducted over multiple days or involves multiple attempts, the Organizer reserves the absolute right to determine the most appropriate scoring methodology to identify the winner(s).

​WHAT IS ALLOWED AND WHAT IS PROHIBITED:
Allowed

Clean the Robot Football Player wheels only with wet cleaning cloths or cleaning fluid and paper.
Not allowed:
-
Robot Football Players use parts that can harm their contestantmates.
-
The use of glue to increase adhesion, (cleaning wheels with adhesive tapes that may leave glue on the wheels or suction cups). The tires and other parts of the Robot Football Player in contact with the track must not be able to lift and hold a standard A4 paper (80 g/m2) for more than two seconds.

Autonomous Robot Football Player expansion after the match begins.

The use of pneumatic in all categories of robots.

The use of pullback motors in all classes of robots.
